We used this book from the library to create our own lapbook (in notebook form)for Science.
Since we created our own, I needed lapbook pieces and found exactly what I needed from homeschoolshare.com. *I love that website. Here is the link to the blank templates where you can print out which ones you choose.
We just completed a labook on Benjamin Franklin.
I really wanted the girls to study him so we got off the subject of electricity, and they read biographies and completed this lapbook found off of homeschoolshare.com.
If I had time, I would love to throw more inventors and people of great historical importance in our curriculum.
It was also a good introduction into the American Revolution.
Prior to the American Revolution, we studied the French and Indian War.
It is a war that is often forgotten, and it and George Washington's role as a young General.
I found the lapbook on another favorite website.
You will have to scroll down to the bottom to find the files for the lapbook.
The best thing about this one is that it, besides it is bright and colorful, was that there wasn't a lot of writing required. We were short on time and spent the bulk of our French and Indian War education reading living books from the library. Here is the book that we used most.
