Click...Click...Blue Screen...Crash

Sigh. Last night, I finally had a free moment to take advantage of cyber Monday.  I was ordering some things off of Snapfish.com and it was 11:40 pm.  Frantically, I was uploading pictures to take advantage of the 500 prints for a penny each along with the other order of gifts and Christmas cards.
All of a sudden, my computer starts clicking.  I run upstairs to tell Jay, my computer genius.  Next thing I know, it blue screens and dies.
All of my pictures are on that computer.  All of our banking and important files are on that computer.  All of my pictures on on that computer.  Oh, I already said that, didn't I?
Needless to say, I can no longer post pictures on here until I upload them to Jay's computer.  Thank God I have not deleted them off the memory cards yet!  Sigh.
I also didn't get my order put in.  Sigh.

Disney's Magic

Classic picture of Goofy painting the name on the rear of the ship.

We were right next door to the Walt Disney Suite.
That's an $11,000 room.

Inside the suite.
We each stepped into the room when no one was
looking just to say that we had been in there.

Our stateroom

Same bag and goodies inside as last time.

Our travel agent sent us a bottle of wine.
We gave it away to our neighbors.
Next time, I think I'll ask for on board credit instead!

This was twice the size as the trunks in the regular staterooms.
It was a huge blessing.

Instead of the pagers, they now have a wave phone system.  It works like a cell phone.
Rebecca kept one and I had the other and she was free to roam the ship~ with permission, of course.
She was very responsible in texting or calling frequently.

Another view of our stateroom.

We certainly had the busiest door.
You wouldn't get lost finding our room!

While at port, the girls played a game of ping pong
until one of them flung the ball overboard.
so cool~ at night

On Beat Street

Rockin' Bar D was used for kid activities during the day,
but quickly changed to accommodate the night life.

The elevators on Beat Street.

Taken of the atrium from deck 5.

The lobby is not what you'd expect as it is on other cruise ships.

Subtle Disney influences.

Christmas trees were everywhere.
This is by the Buena Vista Theater.

Watching tv and eating a burger.

The embroidery on the wall in the Walt Disney Theater.

Rebecca loved hanging out here and Em was just stopping by.

Port Canaveral

It's the subtle Disney influences that I love.
It is NOT 100% Disney that makes it special.

Sunset over Port Canaveral

So pretty I am showing it twice.

A Chilly Day at the Beach

Now that we are back from our 2 week vacation, I will attempt to post pictures on here.
It will be a s.l.o.w. process.
I have uploaded 1,141 pictures and videos and still have my underwater camera to go through and load.
(Sigh) I am having so much fun reliving these moments through the pictures.

It was an unseasonably chilly and windy day at New Smyrna Beach.
The day after we were there, the temps were 10 degrees warmer.

The sand was packed very hard!

They had fun just being with their daddy.

Playing on the sand dunes that were not allowed.
Oops!
I didn't see the sign until later.

Tomorrow... the first day of our 7 night cruise on Disney's Magic.

New Smyrna beach

vacation day 1

What a day it's been! It started off last night with late nite packing for vacation. Since we have been so busy lately, finding time to pack has proven difficult.
We finally left at 12:40 am. The trip south was uneventful, always a good thing! Jay drove most of the time, of which I am very grateful.
We stopped for breakfast at a mcdonalds in jacksonville. It started off with me sitting in something liquid and brown right at a not so good spot. Ugh! I was not pleased but thankfully, in Florida, the handicap bathrooms have a sink in the stall. It also had both paper towels and a blow drier. I was relieved and thankful that it came out! That would have been embarrassing!
We drove down to new Smyrna beach and enjoyed a windy, chilly afternoon on the beach. It was one that you can drive down on and we enjoyed the relaxing time there.
Afterwards, we left and drove to titusville where we were able to find the hotel of our choice for a reasonable price. It was then that I realized that my black shirt was completely ruined. That's another story in and of itself. We then went on a shopping ruin that turned out to be profitable. Yah! God has been so good to us throughout our travels even though we've had a couple minor incidents. I
Now that we are settled in for the night with full bellies, think its time to relax. Jay is snoozing away and the girls are watching an episode of the original dennis the menace. I am going to see if I can add pics to the blog from my phone and then read. Tomorrow is an exciting day!

Randomness

Emily enjoying coloring with little Elaina

Emily with her wonderful 88 year old great grandma.

Team Work:  Our state's geography, the 5 regions

Fat, pale, not a good pic by any means,
but I finally got my hair done.

And Emily finally got a real hair cut.
She deserved it.  It looks great!
