I will never tire of going to Grandma's house

Today, my grandma finally allowed me to come and visit her.
So, my sister and her 2 children, my mom, my 2 children and myself packed up and drove to see her.
Routinely, we go eat lunch at Red  Robin and today was no different.
After filling our bellies up with some yummy grub, we headed over to let the little one play in the play area at the mall. This is a tradition that was started when Rebecca was 4 or 5 and now that my girls are older, my niece gets to enjoy the play area.  And boy, did she have a blast!
My grandma has an eternal sweet tooth and really wanted to eat ice cream, another tradition.  Since it was National Flip Flop day, meaning free smoothies from Tropical Smoothie Cafe, I talked her into trying that.
It certainly wasn't what she expected, nor did it quench that chocolate taste she had, but it satisfied the rest of us!
Enjoy these pictures from today.  I will treasure each one of my grandma!

my beautiful girls waiting patiently in the car

It was an absolutely gorgeous day.
priceless: mother and daughter

Another priceless picture: great grandma holding her only great grandson.

Emily was the overprotective cousin and would not let Madison climb on anything without help.

One day he will get out there and play, too.

Ahh, proof that I was actually there.
These are my grandma's prescription sunglasses that she has had for YEARS!
They go great with Em's tie-dye t-shirt.

Enjoying our free (non chocolate) smoothies

Just not the same effect as it had on Emily, but she's a beauty, too!

Blurry, but I will take what I can get.

After lunch and the mall, we always seem to end back up at grandma's where we chit chat and the girls draw.
I forget what she was telling me here, but I'm sure it was something about Jay's job.

another sweet moment of mother and daughter talking.
