The girls and I spent the day with my sister, niece and newest nephew doing Easter type activities.
They made and decorated Easter sugar cookies and did a simple egg hunt.
It was enough to satisfy all ages, myself included.
Making Sugar Cookies |
Little bakers in the making. |
Love that Madison wouldn't take the oven mitt off to play while Emily gives a little attention to a sleeping Ethan. |
Looking at Aunt Shea, "What you talking about?' |
Aunt Misty had fun hiding the eggs while I snuggled with Ethan. |
Ok, now time to go searching for eggs. |
A sad attempt at a group picture. |
She is just so cute. |
Em had fun searching for eggs but decided to eat the treats inside the eggs as she found them. |
I think she had more fun eating the icing than actually decorating the cookies. |
concentrating on making just the perfect cookies |
another one in deep concentration |
I think she got the hang of it |
Lack of sleep causes lack of creativity. |
I think the biggest disappointment will come on Sunday afternoon when my niece, almost 2, goes on a big egg hunt at her nana's only to realize there is money inside the eggs, not candy and treats.
Rebecca would love to trade with her just for that one day!
