Today, my grandma finally allowed me to come and visit her.
So, my sister and her 2 children, my mom, my 2 children and myself packed up and drove to see her.
Routinely, we go eat lunch at Red Robin and today was no different.
After filling our bellies up with some yummy grub, we headed over to let the little one play in the play area at the mall. This is a tradition that was started when Rebecca was 4 or 5 and now that my girls are older, my niece gets to enjoy the play area. And boy, did she have a blast!
My grandma has an eternal sweet tooth and really wanted to eat ice cream, another tradition. Since it was National Flip Flop day, meaning free smoothies from Tropical Smoothie Cafe, I talked her into trying that.
It certainly wasn't what she expected, nor did it quench that chocolate taste she had, but it satisfied the rest of us!
