Crazy Virginia Weather

The flowers and trees are very confused.

The weather has been insane!  It snowed (approx 1.5 in) on Monday morning but melted by 9 am in most area.  The local public schools jumped to quickly and cancelled school for the day.  Many enjoyed the no snow snow day.  Not P.J. Christian Academy, though.  School as usual.
It was increasing warmer throughout the week making it nice for some much needed outdoor time and refreshing walks.  Emily had a soccer practice and Rebecca had more of an orientation than an actual practice.  It was at least 74 on Thursday.  Rain came late Thurs. night/ early Fri. morning bringing in a cold front.  Ugh
Today's soccer game wasn't cancelled due to wet fields (Emily was moved to a different field but it was all good).  The wind was bitter cold at the beginning of Emily's game but I sat comfortably under my blanket soaking up some sun.  I have no idea what the weather is for this week and there really is no use in looking now because it is sure to change.
Like I said, crazy VA weather!  Snow and 74* in one week.

The absolute best part?  It was practically gone by the afternoon for many.  (Of course, not our yard, though.)  The roads were clear and safe for even me to drive on.
